What are some good calling apps for the iPod touch?

Is the iPod Touch exactly like the iPhone just without the calling function (has apps, internet, movies, etc)?

  Yes, but Apple will try and make you think otherwise. They even charge you for the exact same software update that is free for the iPhone, and in the beginning, it had none of the iPhone apps such as Notes, Mail, Calendar and Contacts. 'They said this was to differentiate it from the iPhone'; but the very fact that you can't make calls is enough differentiation tyvm. Apple are buggers when it comes to marketing, and they were forced to give the iPhone OS 2.0 software as a free update after trying to charge for it. No doubt they will fold again after trying to charge for the latest update for the iTouch, while again, iPhone owners get it free. To really take the cake we have to realise that iPhone and iPod touch both use the same iPhone OS. I've bought an iPod touch because I think it's very good for what it does, but no way would I buy an iPhone. The contract is outrageous. An iTouch and a smartphone like the LG Viewty would be cheaper than an iPhone in the long run, and the iPhone is lacking in the camera department (3 Megapixel for christ sake) and other features like Video Calling. ...But, it's made by Apple, so the price is justified and it must be the very best out there, right?
