How can I read messages on my BlackBerry curve?

Blackberry got wet NEED to open unread messages please someone help :(?

  • Blackberry got wet PLEASE help!? Basically I knocked water over my Blackberry Curve 8900 and whilst it turns on and is still recieving messages, calls and bbms, none of the buttons work to even let me unlock my phone to read them or answer any calls! I'm pretty sure its broken now but was wondering if theres anyway to read the messages and bbms on there, as when I take out my sim and put it in a different phone the 5 unread messages I have waiting do not come through. Please help is there anything I can do ?????

    Get a bowl of dry rice, this might not work if you've tried to turn it on. But yeah, take a apart your phone and get a bowl full of rice, bury your phone in there, wait for a few hours because the rice will absorb all the water inside. If you have no rice, just chuck the phone on the heater, turn it on and wait for a few hours (6-7) Goodluck :)

take the battery out. shake it real hard to try to get most of the water out. run a hair dryer over it for 15 minutes. if this doesnt work let it sit out overnight.
