My blackberry curve won't turn on?

Blackberry curve wont turn on?

• okay so i used to have a blackberry curve and it didnt get water damage or anything, but the sticker on the battery turned pink. so i bought a new battery for it. and i know the battery works that i bought because i tried it in my friends blackberry. and when i put the batter in mine, the red light at the top of the phone goes off and then off. and it wont turn on after that, my friend got it to turn on a couple of times but the screen would go black suddenly and it would say low battery and turn right back off, i would like to know what i can do get it to turn on. thanks!

  just call your cell phone service provider and have them transfer you to the blackberry support department and tell them you need them to walk you through erasing and reinstalling the operating system. I had the same problem and got it taken care of.
