How can I persuade my dad to get me a DS Lite?

My DS Phat died for good in the last few months (Tried to fix fuses and it didn't work). So anyways, whenever one of my friends break their DS their dad just goes out and gets them a new one (Wtf?). Me and my dad was at Walmart so I asked him if we could go see how much one cost. Sadly, it was $230. So now, I went on gamestop and a pre-owned DS lite is $99. How could I persuade him to get me one without him telling me to save up my money? I mean, I'm only 13.

They're $30 where I live O.o I would send you mine, but it's pink ;) Soo, ask if you can get it for Christmas. BETTER IDEA! Go to gamestop and turn in games you don't want anymore or a game system like Wii, game cube, etc that you don't use. it will give you store credit and will make the DS lite cheaper.

What? DS Lites aren't $230, they're $130.
ask him if you could get the ds lite now as an early birthday present, and that you wont ask for a birthday gift when the time comes for that. i do that when i want stufffff. hope i helped, and good luck! i had a ds phat and a ds lite, and the ds lite is 110% better.
