PSP Pandoras Battery Help!?

  • I Want To Hard Mod My Battery And I Know What Pin To Lift Up And Everything But I Was Watching This one video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvOnbQAVq30&feature=related And When He Was Doing It The PSP Battery Sparked When He Was Trying To Lift Up The Pin And People Commented That It happened to Them To So My Question Is Do I Have To Make Sure The Battery Is Dead First And Then Just Charge It After Im Done Making It Because I Don't Have A Soldering Gun And Im Going To Use my knife To Lift The Pin and Also any tips on best way to lift the pin with my knife?

    It's a good idea to have the battery dead & a plastic knife, but it's not completely necessary. I've done it before & the battery was factory standard [right out of the box] & I used a safety pin to raise the pin & nothing happened. I guess it's ones own luck. Good Luck!

1 good Idea that you use a dead battory 2 try useing a strong plastic knife that way it is less likely to spark.
