How to use pandoras battery for PSP?

alright so im running version 3.51 official firmware, and i have a fat psp-1001. so how would i go about making a pandoras battery? and will my battery still work after i do this?

Acually, I believe you can downgrade that Firmware version through the lumminies hack, but I might be wrong. There are videos on youtube that I used that are very informative, especially from ZZK2001
