How do i put music on my blackberry pearl 8100 for free?

i have the desktop manager but it wont let me sync my music. please help! do i really need to buy a new card for memory

I have the Curve 8300, but it's most likely all the same. I plug in my USB cord... Open up music folder on my BBerry.. then open up the folder where music is saved on my COMPUTER, Drag & Drop into the Berry's "Music" folder, and voila! Hope this helps.
