Can you put verizon service on a Palm Centro designed for ATandT?

Where can I buy the palm centro phone without a contract that will work with Verizon?

I already have a verizon plan right now, but I don't want to have to switch over to the new data plan (which costs more per month). So, I want to buy the palm centro without a contract, but I want it to work with verizon....Where is the cheapest place (or site) that I can buy a no contract palm centro? (So far all i can find is $450 at bestbuy, which is ridiculous!) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
