Can I buy the Iphone 3gs at the Apple Store and then do not pay the contract?

    If you buy the phone with the subsidy (at the discount) with a contract, you have to provide all kinds of personal information, and they will run a credit check on you. So, if you're going to scam them like this, you have to use someone else's identity. Now you're getting into fraud. I doubt they would just give you the contract is you tell them your from overseas...they'll tell you to buy it in your home country. If you do manage to somehow pull this off, they will chase you incessantly to get their early termination fee (ETF), which could be $300 or more on an iPhone. I don't think they'll care where in the world you are...the will find you or royally screw with your credit record, which will cost you dearly. You're better off buying it at full price, or buying it at home. This is just a bad idea all around.

Yes you can. But they will be a heck more expensive around $500 dollars and up without a contract. But for people who have the money, that is no problem.
