How do you change your answering machine on your mobile?

How do I change my cell phone voicemail answering machine back to the operator voice?

  • I mean, "You have reached the spring voice mail system of 555-555, etc. I can't figure it out how to do it with my phone! I once recorded over that once I think by saying my name. Now when I go into options I can only get it to say my name and not, "You have reached to voice mail box of 555-555-5555."

    Depending upon the system (carrier) you're on, this option is found under greetings. It would most likely give the options of recorded name, automated number, or just an automated 'leave a message'. This is NOT the personal greeting, which is the one you'd speak for yourself. But as I said, it depends on the carrier.
