Can you block your number when dialing an international call?

What code is dialed before dialing a phone number from a cell phone to block your number from being seen?

  • I remember when I was younger, back when cell phones weren't as common as they are now (I was born in 1977), a person could dial *67, *68 or *70, and *69 on their own LAND LINE phones as ways to block your number from being seen by the person you were calling, to see who the last caller was that dialed your own number, and to block a particular number from being able to call your own number anymore. If I'm not mistaking, *67 blocked your number from being seen by the party you were calling, *68 or *70 blocked peoples numbers from dialing your own number, and *69 returned the call of the last person that dialed your number. Can anyone tell me if these codes are right and if they're able to be used when dialing and receiving calls from cellular phones? Your answer would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a great day! :)
