I have no internet on my Xperia x10 Why.

Xperia x10 mini is unlocked but cannot access internet?

• my bf was awaiting an upgrade on o2 and he let me have a phone as hes not bothered about an upgrade. so i chose xperia x10 mini. he took it to an unlocking shop and can text and recieve texts as well as calls. Im on vodafone, and for some reason cannot get online on this phone. i have free internet access as part of my vodafone contract. is there something i just need to adjust on browser settings or something. i love this phone but am just annoyed why i cant get on the internet. please please help.

  The only thing that can be said with any certainty with an unlocked device is that it will make and receive calls and we can usually get text messaging working without too much trouble. The problem with the newer devices is the browser settings are locked and we are unable to edit them. Sometimes we can add a new profile and put in all new settings and it still may not work. We may be able to get some things working while others we may not or we may not be able to get anything data related to work. It is all a crap shoot as far as data is concerned. Your device needs to be programmed with Vodafone browser settings, if it is possible
