Can I buy a new phone during my service agreement without having to pay full price?

• I have a 2-year service pack agreement and I'm only about a year in, and I want to change my phone (BECAUSE MY PHONE IS THE DEVIL). If I want to buy a new phone, does this mean that I have to get another service agreement on top of the one I have, just to avoid paying full price for the phone? Or if I do have to pay full price for my new phone, will my agreement still be normal but just with a new phone? Sorry if this is confusing.

  It depends on your carrier. My friend has T-mobile and he was able to upgrade about six months after having his contract. AT&T has it where you might get a partial discount on a new phone depending how far you are in the contract but you would have to change your service depending if the new phone is a smartphone or not. Ultimately the only way to know is to ask a representative from your phone company what your options are.
