Which cellphone is much better to use?

Can I Buy Any Cellphone and Use It with Any Carrier?

  • I want to go on Verizon when I go back to the states but looking online, I'm not finding any phones that I actually like. So could I go out and just buy any old cellphone and then bring it in to Verizon and have them use that phone to put in the chip and the have the plan on? I'm want a plan with unlimited texting and so I want a QWERTY cellphone. Like a blackberry but not a black berry, you know? Also, I want to be able to use the phone anywhere in the United States. Would the cellphone determine that or would the provider?

  • Answer:

Verizon uses CDMA technology, no chip (SIM card). So you would have to buy a compatible phone. Your service plan from your provider determines where you can use your phone. Most plans these days are national, there are still some regional providers out there.

Yeah you just have to jailbreak it. Look up jailbreak on craigslist in your area or type it into google. Good luck.
