How can I reverse flash a metro pcs iPhone back to Verizon?

I have a verizon iphone 4 5.0.1, modem firmware 3.0.03 it was flash to metro pcs. Now, I want it back on Verizon. I called a Verizon store in my place and they told me to connect it to itunes and restore. I did that but when I dial *228 it is still metro pcs. The PRL in my phone is 2004. I think that's the PRL for metro pcs. How can I change it to Verizon? How can my iPhone work again with Verizon? will the next iOS update fix my problem? Please help :( Thanks...

call Verizon... tell them itunes didnt work... they should be able to flash the ESN back over manually

Verizon is supposed to flash the ESN back to their network, so whichever Verizon employee told you to restore in iTunes is an idiot. Call Verizon and tell them you want to flash your phone back to Verizon, and they will do it. I believe the fee is 35 USD.
