Question about palm to the cell phone?

Need help with a cell phone question please!?

  • I have a Verizon contract and my cell phone is a few years old (it's an enV2 and they don't even make them anymore). It's been a very good phone and I have been able to keep it for about 3-4 years because I love the phone and didn't want to get rid of it when my contract was up. There is no cell phone service where I live so my family bought one of those cell service extenders so we are able to have full service and use our phones at our house. For the past few months, though, I have noticed that I have not been able to send texts very well and my phone has been acting up. Naturally, I assumed that it was just because my phone was old and needed to be replaced. Lately, though, I have noticed when I am in areas where there is cell phone service (without the help of an extender) the texts don't seem to have a problem sending. Before I go and get a new phone and spend money that I may not even need to spend can someone help me? I am just wondering if these texts are not sending well because of my old phone or my cell phone extender. (And my parents don't have a problem sending texts on their phones, but they also don't text as much as I do!) Please help! Thanks!! :)

    Have u called customer survice and if so I hate to say it but it's time to get a new phone or check ur plan just incase(ur plan may not be able to send text)

Hi.Dial *228 + send from your phone.Press option 2.Then that should solve your problem with messaging.

You need to run a speed test. Perhaps get a friend of yours who also has verizon over and see if they have similar problems. If your speeds are significantly slower in the extender area I would chalk it up to that. If they are basically the same then it might be your phone.
