Can I use my Verizon phone with Boost Mobile?

HELP with boost mobile phone?

• I got a used Sprint LG Marquee phone from friend that was very recently putting minutes on with Boost Mobile reboost cards. I had my Verizon number switched to this phone (which I'm not 100% sure worked because the number is Phone Info is still the same). I then applied $55 to this phone plus a $10 actvation fee. The phone still didn't work. I called Boost and they said I couldn't use this phone as a Boost Mobile phone, yet a friend was just recently using it as that!!! The lady also told me I could buy a new boost phone and transfer my balance to that phone. Well it says the opposite on boost mobile's website. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I have been trying to figure this out all day now & I am NOT gonna just let them keep my $65!

  You can put a Sprint phone on Boost AFTER that account has been activated with an OFFICIAL Boost mobile phone. The phone may have been on your friend's plan but that does not change the fact that if you are going to put that phone on ANOTHER Boost mobile plan , the new plan has to have its first phone be a Boost mobile device. After that , you can transfer the esn number of the sprint device to your Boost account by calling customer support. Be aware that some of them will give you a hard time about it and some won't care.
