How do i copy/paste "download" a link from a text message on my cell and use it in my cells browser?

i used a website that sends free ringtones to your phone by sending a link through a textmessage... u are told by this sight to download the link, use it in your browser "on your phone" and then you can get the tone from there... all good... but idk how to use the link they sent me in my browser... HELP!!!
