Is HTC Smart a worth phone to buy?

What cell phone should I buy? HTC Hero or iPhone?

  • I've really wanted the iphone for a long time and I have an iPod Touch which is basically the same thing without the phone. I've gotten really used to it but my friend says that if I buy the iphone I will regret it because he regrets buying it as well. Since he said that I have also looked at the HTC Hero which looks nice and all.. but I would like some input from more people. The phones I am looking at are : Factory unlocked iphone 3g or 3gs and an unlocked HTC Hero, the ones from Europe since Sprint doesn't use sim cards. =( If you can give me some advice as to which one to buy, that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    HTC is supposed to releasing the "Dragon" on T-mobile shortly. (Code named as such, because of the 1GHz SnapDraggon processor in it.) It has some REALLY good hardware specs, and should beat the pants off the Hero as far as performance/features. I would hold off on the purchase for a few weeks, and go with T-mo and the Dragon (Although that might not be the name it is finally released as)

the iPhone in the US needs to be on AT&T

In my opinion and since I change phones it seems monthly,the iPhone would be your best bet hands down. The way it works so well especially on the t mobile network is awesome. I have never regreted having mine. My last blackberry was great and thought I could do no better but I went back to an iPhone because of how well it just flawlessly performed on the tmobile network. You won't get 3g speed with a 3g but u won't notice. And with a wifi hotspot,it is the best. I hate iTunes but a small setback considering what I have gained. Save so e money and buy a used 3g and not gs. The difference isn't worth it. I hope this helps, I deal with it all the time.
