Does your iPhone send texts in MMS?

Are you able to send/receive MMS on an iPhone to someone on Verizon?

  • Hi, I've been having some issues sending and receiving MMS messages on my iPhone from my girlfriend who's on Verizon. She does not receive the messages I send and I don't receive any of the MMS that she sends (SMS is working perfectly) I've been able to send and receive MMS from everyone I know on AT&T but I seem to be having trouble with Verizon. I should note that the phone has been activated for less than 24 hours and I did have my old number ported over from Tmobile so maybe something is malfunctioning within the network because of the porting process (That's just a theory and I have no evidence to back it up). I'm wondering if anyone else has been having this trouble (specifically with Verizon or with some other specific carrier) and if so is there any solution? Thanks so much!

    Talk to your carrier if its bothering you that much it has something to do with your phone how its sending the mms. I heard iphone recently got mms so you could have buggy software that may need to be updated or call them and troubleshoot it. It could be a block on your account. The only thing you can ask your girlfriend is if shes sending and recieving pix with other people and if they all are recieving them be carrier specificas well. Because, if she has no problem with anyone but you it's your service call their technical support line.

Before you call AT&T to report the problem, educate yourself on the possible problem and whatever you do, don't let them play the blame game (i.e. "It's a Verizon problem") because you'll be in limbo FOREVER. I had a problem with AT&T-Verizon text messaging for over a year before it was finally resolved.
