What is the different between LED flash and Xenon Flash in a mobile phone?

Is LED flash important for a mobile phone?

  • Does the LED flash have a major influence on the picture/video recorded with the phone, or is it only of minor importance?

    Well, if you do want to record or take photos in darker areas (not enough lighting), then at least a LED flash would become an important feature.

As with most anything, the answer is "it depends". Some units have a semi-decent flash/video light, others have a little useless light but call it a flash anyway. None of the phone flash units come close to the power of a "real" flash, limiting their usefulness to 6-8 feet, but they can absolutely improve a photo within their limitations. the only way to know for sure is to try it out and see.

yes , but not all LED flash is effective . for instance try iphone 4s flash it sucks :P but at same time n8 has a dual flash very effective :D the flash light comes to play only in dark areas or dullness :)
