Why can't I send a picture message on my blackberry?

My blackberry phone doesn't allow me to send out picture message, wtf?

• when i try to attach a picture it allows me to go to my photos and when i click a photo that i want to send out it only opens the photo to let me view it, but it WONT allow me to attach it to my text. what gives? how can i fix this problem?

  It's probably because you don't have an internet data plan. If you have internet on your phone, take out your battery and pull out your micro-SD card. (The little black chip the probably says 2GB.) And put it back in. Let your device reboot and try again. If it still doesn't work, you have internet, you pulled out the chip then go to Network Settings. It looks like a satellite with 3 rings around it. Select data plan if Wi-Fi is on. If all else fails, you have a defective phone. -Mobile Technician.
