Phone Interview-good or bad sign?

Looking to get a cell phone what do i need to sign a contract?

  • don't have a credit score, trying to build one and i heard cell phone is one of the easiest and least expensive. Currently under a family plan contract ended about 3 or 4 years ago with tmobile still with them. I like their customer service such as recently i was at the tmobile store looking to get a new phone or try and get my own contract and they were cool not pressuring me to sign not pushing me all cool. i went to the verizon store and within 10 min the sales person was ready to get the paper work to sign 2 years and 2 phones. wait why do i need the second phone? and when did i say i was ready to sign? so i left idk but anyways never gotten my own contract and wondering what exactly do you need.

hi, if you got that reception from verizon and tmobile perhaps you have a good credit score.. ^^. Tmobile offers an account without a credit score its called ""Flexpay". Flexpay offers minimum of 6 months tenure and a good payment history (never on a past due) to have a better change in getting a post paid account. Its a good start if you do not have a credit. I suggest if you get a flexpay, build your credit by signing to the easypay program.. if you dont have a credit card/ debit/check, then just make sure you pay on the DUE date not on the end of the cycle.. after 6 months of good payment history you can verify with them if your included in the list of qualified customers whose credit score (with tmobile) improved. If your not yet on that list call them again after 3 months or when your almost a year with them. If you sustain the account on a good slate for over a year with flexpay, i bet the 2nd year you have tmobile youl get your post paid account. hope this help

Your best bet will be to compare and shop online. There are many advantages to shopping online you named the biggest right away, no salespeople. The best new customer benefits are huge online plus you can compare all carriers and prices from one site. I just switched carriers after being with Verizon for years. Go to this website and you can compare everything with no salespeople maxumwireless.com I think T- mobile will be the easiest for you starting out and they are the most affordable. Good luck
