Which phone do you prefer: Samsung Propel or LG Vu?

  • They're both really awesome, but I can't decide. The LG Vu looks cooler and is a touch screen, but is kind of hard to text on. For people who have touch screen phones: were you able to get used to and eventually text fast on your phone???

    Okay,all the info I an provide you about the Vu. The touch SCREEN is adequate. It's probably not as good as the iphone, but ii's still really good, especially considering the price, I have no complaints about the touch screen. (just gets annoying sometime) It's definitely durable, i have dropped my Vu more than 10 times, and it's still alive. Battery life is okay, it depends on what you're doing. If you're watching tons of videos, then you battery life will be down to about 50% after an hour. This also includes browsing the internet. But that's if you're doing some major video watching or major browsing. Other than that, battery life is good. Overall, it's an okay phone, to be honest, I like it, and I hate it. I had to get mine replaced Two times already, and it was because the Vu is only compatible with SanDisk memory cards, any others will cause it to crash,whichh ATT doesn't know because Lg doesn't list it as a problem. Also, let me warn you about some of the pros and cons of this phone, Pros: Texting is awesome on it!!! Love the touch screen!!! Full HTML Web Browsing!!! You're able to watch videosofff the internet!!! Good picture quality!!! Cons: Productivity is low. You can't sync your calendar on your pc, with the one on the Vu, no matter what program you have. You can't pick your own custom message alert tone. So you can't hear a part of your favorite song everyime you send a message, you have to choose from one of the ten boring preset tones. That's it! Yes, there are hacking ways to get tones on your phone, but that's a different story. Finally, the biggest problem of the phone is... THE STUPID PHONE LOCK. YOU CAN TURN THE REGULAR LOCK OFF, BUTT EVERYTIME YOU MAKE A CALL, THE CALL LOCK GOES ON BY DEFAULT AND YOU CAN'T TURN IT OFF!!!! NEVER TRY SETTING UP A VOICEMAIL WITH THIS PHONE!!! " PRESS ONE- *WAIT, DARN THE STUPID LOCK JUST CUT ON, UGH UNLOCK* i'M SORRY WE DIDN'T GET A RESPONSE, PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER, LOL!!!!' Lol, so the final descision is up to you, lol!

I like the Samsung Propel. The Samsung Propel is a slider phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. It has a 2.2 inch display. Texting, emailing, and instant messaging is fun with this wireless phone. You can even insert pictures, video clips, sound clips in your messages. For instant messaging you can use AOL, Yahoo! and Windows Live Messenger. With video sharing you can share live streaming video with friends & family. With Mobile email you can use AOL, Windows Live and Yahoo! Whichever device you go for will probably go down to personal preference.

i just got the LG vu and it works really nice, i would recomend gettin a memory chip when u get it becuz it doesn't hold alot of memory by its self. But on the other hand its a real nice phone, has many features. Im not so use to texting with it yet but it has a touch keyboard with it. i recommend it but if u buy it by itself its atleast 400$ but my 2 year plan contract was up so it was free
