Does anyone know when Apple phones are coming out for Verizon?

ok my dad says he'll get me a phone when apple phones come out for verizon cause he works for verizon MCI so he gets discounts and he says they are coming out next year so thats why i can't have a phone now so i'll be able to get one of those next year. i trust my dad but i just want to know is it official thats when they are coming out? thanks

It's not official. They were talking about doing it for a while, but they haven't actually said they would. There are differences in the technology that AT&T and Verizon use, and that makes it difficult to make an iPhone for Verizon. Your dad could be right. But they haven't made an official announcement.

It is not been official that Verizon is getting an Apple phones, mostly because the iPhone operates on GSM networks and Verizon is CDMA, so until they release a CDMA apple phone, your out of luck
