Rogers: Do you get charged if an incoming text message is sent to your phone when you are outside of canada?
-
say im somewhere in the Caribbean for a vacation, but I don't send any text messages there, only people send them to me. Would it still be free incoming texts or would I have to pay for the texts that are sent to me because I am not in canada? I have rogers, thanks

Answer:
You need to find that out from Rogers. I would ask if it is still free long distance because unfortunately I do not know.

Yes, i think that it will cost you money. when my friend went to the caribbean, she asked us strictly not to text, as they costed about 50 cents apiece. Hope this helps!
