Can you put verizon service on a Palm Centro designed for at&t?
-
I have an AT&T palm centro. I was wondering if I can switch it to verizon or if I need a Verizon Palm Centro for that (because verizon doesn't use SIM cards).

Answer:
No. AT&T functions on a GSM network, while Verizon is on a CDMA network (which is why they also have a much more vast data network). Even if they were both the same, each carrier locks its phones only to be supported on their network. It is possible to unlock a phone but it's an advanced process that requires taking apart the phone and tinkering with it. You need a Verizon Palm Centro. It's worth it, Verizon is superior.

No. Only Verizon phones can be used on the Verizon network.
