IPhone 4 HD Recording?

  • I want to get an iPhone, but the various difference in quality of video recording is scaring me. Some videos look like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XdxOfkWAr0 which is what I want, but others look like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wG5wXcKb2w Why is the quality and recording type so different? Is it just orientation of the phone? or is there something else?

    When a video is recorded on the iPhone, it is 720p HD and looks excellent. However, if the video is emailed or multimedia messaged, it is compressed, therefore cutting down on quality. You've got nothing to worry about. I am typing this on my iPhone 4 and I love it.

Well passing through software usually affects the quality, depending on what quality output the second video was made with. The 1st video wasn't passed through any software so it was a raw example of the quality of an iPhone 4's video power. The iPhone will always record in 720p hd. The only thing you're seeing is when people export some videos they choose a low quality size. When you upload a video to YouTube from your iPhone it will only be hd if you are connected to wifi. I uploaded a video when I had just finished taking it and did not have wifi available, I was only available to upload it in 360p on 3g

Dont export in anything less than HD! also dont Zoom! but the iPhone 5 will be out soon, and if you buy the 4 a few months before the 5 comes, you will be very sad.

There are many apps that improve recording like imovie get one dont worry there are many ways to adjust video
