  Most businesses don't hire at 14, so you may have to go into business for yourself. When I was your age, one of the things I did to earn money was (the old standby) babysitting. Also, I used to work as a 'Mother's Helper' where I went to the house and sometimes entertained the kids and sometimes helped the Mother with house work. I did housework for several elderly ladies in the neighborhood. I also cut grass and did gardening for people. I ran errands and went to the grocery store for people in the neighborhood. I also had a paper route. You might also try dog walking or pet sitting. Or house sitting for folks who go on vacation -- checking the house, bringing in the mail, watering the plants. You could distribute a flyer in your area telling what you are willing to do and your rates. Good luck!
