My blackberry Bold just stopped working on me.?

Internet on my Blackberry Bold stopped working, any ideas why?

  • The internet on my Blackberry Bold stopped working a few days ago, not exactly sure why. The wierd thing though is I can use things like AIM and other instant messaging services, but I can't browse the web at all. Making and recieving both texts and calls also work fine. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

    Use a GPRS access point instead of a WAP access point because applications use GPRS access points.

Well, since your data connection is fine you will need to check a couple of others. Open the BlackBerry Browser, click the Menu button, and select Options. Click Cache Operations. Click Clear Cookie Cache and Clear History and the press the Back button. Check your browser as well. Go to Menu, Options/Settings, Advanced Options, Browser and make sure your browser is not on HotSpot or WiFi. Menu, Options/Settings, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, press Menu and select register now. That will refresh your connection to Blackberry Server. Also, try pulling the battery out for 15-30 seconds. I recommend doing this at least 2 times a week.
