What is cellular data on iphone 3gs?

I need to transfer data from an Iphone 3gs to Iphone 4?

  • I currently have an Iphone 3gs on AT&T. I'm getting my brother's Iphone 4 (also on AT&T, same family plan) because of his grades. I need to accomplish 3 things : 1.) Move all my contacts, apps, pictures and other data to the iphone 4 2.) Switch sim cards 3.) COMPLETELY wipe my 3gs clean of data (it has banking information on it and I've used it to look at unsavory pictures :D) What is the easiest way to do this?

  • Answer:

Easy first plug your old phone to your computer. Then it will put all the info on there. Next plug the new phone into your computer and it will have all your info trust me. -ferris

using iTunes u can Sync all your data from yur phone, jus conect yur 3gs n sync all data, then connect 4 n transfer it all.....then wipe clean yur 3gs

1) All of your contacts/apps/pictures/data should be saved on to iTunes everytime you sync/update it. Just plug in the iPhone 4 to your iTunes and sync it. 2) Go to your provider, tell them you need a Micro SIM card and ask them to switch your current plan to it. 3) Go to Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings Hope this helped!

Transfer purchases and backup your phone on iTunes. Then take your new phone and sync out with that library on iTunes. Then wipe the phone. It SHOULD be this simple, but apple products tend to not work as easily as they were designed to. So try that

Trash both iPhones and get a Galaxy S II
