If At&t isnt in your area, i would highly recommend alltel Prepaid, No contracts, no monthy costs, Unlimited Texting! If you pick Pay Per Day, You can get "Unlimited Texting" and unlimited nights and weekends for $.75, (comes out to about $20 a month) , then if you talk during the day, its $.10 a minute, so if u only texts its only $20 a month,, plus you can talk all you want on the weekend and after nine I recommend getting it on their website, phones are cheaper there! you do need a credit card to order online, but its a one time fee, nothing monthly, you add money when you want! Look into it, i have always had alltel prepaid and i have saved so much money!

check sprint or nextel 100 get you everything. 90 will get you unlimted tex and calling

just weld it!

get a go phone from at&t. you can get unlimited texting for 20 bucks and you get unlimited texting for 2 months. so if you think about it you will pay only 10 bucks a month for unlimited texting. as for calling, you can call any at&t number for free without waisting your minutes and you get the same coverage that normal paying customers get. 78 million customers/free calling comes in handy sometimes! they have a pretty ok phone for $15 dollars. NO KIDDING! You can refill your phone's balance by going to a gas station or a Seven Eleven and buying a go phone card. You can even go into an at&t store and pay for it there... Here's the go phone page: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/go-phones/index.jsp Here's a list of prices: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/go-phones/gophone-options.jsp?wtSlotClick=1-001OG0-0-2&WT.svl=calltoaction and to find an at&t store near you: http://www.wireless.att.com/find-a-store/ The go phone thats only $15: http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=25e02a1d12e89110VgnVCM1000008406b00aRCRD you can get these phones at Radio Shack as well...

One thing to note, at 17, you can't sign a contract for service so you are limited to prepaid or line on an adult's plan.
