What mobile phone should I get for Christmas?

How can I convince my parents to get me a new cell phone for Christmas? Details inside!?

  • Okay, so I got a cell phone in April. And it was pretty much my first "real" cell phone. However, It's pretty much falling apart, not working 100% properly, and honestly I'm tired of it. However, I typed a 5 PAGE LETTER to my parents in 12 point font explaining why I believe I deserved to get a new phone for Christmas. Also, it requires the SAME payment from them monthly, it's just a better phone! I also offered to give ALL my Christmas money to them. But, I haven't had any luck yet convincing them and it's all I want for Christmas. I make good grades, I help out around the house, and the phone is affordable. HELP PLEASE?!

    Maybe they think you won't look after a new phone, how can your phone be falling apart if you've only had it since april? Plus nobody wants to read a 5 page letter about why you need a phone, that's just annoying. Maybe if you stop bugging them they'll get you a phone. They might be getting you one anyway and want it to be a surprise.

Try to do even more. Also, the letter may have made them think you seemed to be desperate. Try to let it go for a week, then bring it up casually. You may also want to try to offer to pay some of the monthly bill. they would see you as responsible, and maybe get you that new phone:)
