How do I delete all contacts from an iPhone?

If I delete a photo from my iPhone's camera roll will it also delete that picture from my contacts?

• i took a picture that use as a picture for one of my contacts. but i don't want the picture in my camera roll. i still want it in the contact though. if i delete it from my camera roll, will it also delete it from the contact? or am i good?
