• Hello,me and my family have been having Metropcs for a while now and I am the First one in the Family to get a Metro Smartphone. So like every family,sometimes cash comes a little tight sometimes,and that means No more data plan for me D: So My parents and Siblings had to change their plan for a BY THE MINUTE plan,for 20 bucks a month(Actually its a really good deal,lot of minutes,unlimited messaging) and so my beloved LG OPTIMUS M can no longer have data plan(Which is kinda good because the 3G Speeds suck xD and later I realized that my Home WiFi is way faster,so i'm on it 95% of the time.So when My family had to go to a corporate store to change their plans,I realized that they had to:GIVE THEM THE NUMBER THEY WANT TO CHANGE TO BY THE MINUTE PLAN,THEY ASK YOU WHAT PHONE DO YOU HAVE,AND IF YOU HAVE IT,TO PHYSICALLY SHOW THEM THE PHONE,and KABOOM ! brand new By the Minute 20 dollar plan!SO Metro,Just like all US Carriers nowadays,requires a Smartphone to have Data Plan,use it or not,so i only want to have this $20 dollar Unlimited texting and 500 minute plan! So if I have my number,i go to a corporate store,tell them i have a By the minute-compatible phone like a kyocera torino,would it be effectively changed to the 20 dollar plan with no problem? Would I get in trouble?
