Why won't my iPod connect to the network any more?

My ipod touch wont connect to my wifi network?

  • When I go to settings>wifi> then choose my network and enter the right password, it will say its joining but will never do anything. Ive waited like 15-25 min. before and the whole time it just said "joining linksys". people said to reset network setting and whatever, I do, but then it still does that. Im really frustrated! please help :( thanks!

did it fell down off of your pockets? because if it did you might damage the wifi antenna

If you dropped it, left it in extreme hot or cold places then you might have damaged the wifi antenna. I had a linksys router and i had the same problem. The problem was that linksys is not a good wifi router to have for your devices. I would suggest getting a new router but if you believe it is your iPod then send it in to apple and they will fix it for you. The reason for this is because when you buy an iPod brand new you get a one year warranty with the apple company for free. Feel free to send me a message or an email with any more questions you may have and I'll be more than happy to help! :)
