How do you copy music from your computer to your iPod?

Copy music from iPod to computer?

  • is there something i can download for free that will copy music from my iPod to my computer? i want something that will transfer all of my songs. i just tried one, but it said it can only transfer 20 songs, unless i buy it. i don't want to buy anything. DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF A FREE ONE I CAN DOWNLOAD?

    Well you can let your iPod enable to use disk use from the iPods main menu when you connect it to iTunes.When it connects it will come out as if it was a USB drive. Then you have to go to folders, options, then you have to enable hidden folders. This is risky but go to iPod Control,the Music folder. Then hear me well COPY not cut or drag COPY the folder and it will have a whole bunch of weird named folders with your music/movies (your music or movies are also named weird but when you drag/drop them to iTunes they'll mostly be named back to normal) in them, all you have to do is drag them and drop the folders into iTunes and thats it. Beware as screwing up could mess it up.
