My Ipod won't let me Sync my music, what do I do?

My iPod wont let me sync my music. Help?

  • I recently had my computer fixed and the guy deleted all of my songs. So i tried syncing my ipod to the computer and it said if i sync it, its gonna erase all the music from my ipod and replace them with the music in itunes. BUT THERE IS NO MUSIC IN ITUNES! im scared that if i sync my ipod all of my music will be erased and i will have to redownload all 732 songs. PLEASE HELP!!!

    there's this thing that you can download from the intrnet called infranview and it lets you keep your songs and it'll also put them on your computer for you so you can put all your songs on itunes and not worry about anything erasing

Do NOT sync it yet, your right, all your music WILL get formatted. Theres a program to download music off of ur ipod onto ur computer, you should do that. Download the free version (there is one where it can copy ALL your songs over right away but u gotta pay) with the free version you can copy 5-10 songs off at a time, it may take time but its better than losing all your music! Good luck!

I am not sure how to fix this but a word of warning as this happened to me too: Don't sync, as it does erase the music. My dad fixed mine. Do you have the songs anywhere else, like on a CD or another folder in your computer? If you do, you could drag them into iTunes. Good luck. :)

i have the same problem, my computer crashed and i got a lot of songs from other sources. There isn't anything you can do. If you want to add more songs that you buy off iTunes they'll let you do that though. I ended up buying another iPod so i wouldn't loose the songs. >: P
