How do I make another iTunes library?

How do you make an exact copy of your iTunes library?

  • I want to create a 'parent safe' iTunes library. Because I have 2000+ songs… i really don't want to drag every single song to the desktop. I went 'Edit': select all, and tried to make them all copy to the desktop…. didn't work. I attempted making a play-list and doing the same thing. It wouldn't let me do that either. (btw, I know you press the 'option' key to 'choose library'.) Is there an easier way? So I can just copy it and delete all the 'explicit' content. Thanks =)!
