Jailbreaking iPod Touch?

  • I have a 64GB iPod Touch that I got brand-new for Christmas. I am thinking about jailbreaking it. What are the pros and cons of jailbreaking? And does the site www.jailbreakme.com jailbreak your iPod? If I jailbreak mine, how do i use the features? Also, I have eleven pages of apps on my iPod, which is the maximum allowed. Will jailbreaking my iPod allow me to have more apps?

    ok. if you upgraded to the 3.1.3 software, you can not jailbreak your ipod. but if you figure out a way, then some pros- cool themes, free apps. cons it voids your warranty, so you should do it after your warranty expires. jailbreaking does not allow you to have more than 11 pages of apps, but there is downloadable software that allows you to have 5x5 pages instead of 4x4. i have mine jailbroken and i love it.

look at the name of what you want to do and ask yourself if it's smart JAIL and BREAKING chances are one of the two if not both will come into play. It's risky you got 64 gigs man live it up.

Hmm go on youtube and type in jailbreaking and the firmware you have on the ipod. I have jailbroken b4 and have bricked 2 ipods and iphones when the batteries died. Be cautious and think about it before you jailbreak because if using the wrong software you will be very disappointed lol
