How do i reset my reset password on my 8GB ipod touch?

  • on my ipod i have a password set on my "reset" section but i cant remember what it is and i would like to know how to delete the old password and put on a new one? without knowing the password to get into the reset area. i have tried to restore it and i have held down the home button and power button at the same time for like a min. and it dident do anything at all. what else can i try without haveing to retry what i already have tried!!!!!! i have dial up witch takes forever so downloading something onto my computer is kinda out of the question. let me know ASAP thank you for ur awnser (even if they dont help) =)

    Im Really sorry for this happening to you, This happened to me before. I took it to the apple store & they helped me out. Idkk How but they made my iPod Touch 8GB was fixed

Unfortunately you will have to restore it through iTunes... No harm done, you'll just have to re-sync all of your stuff (back them up, -but music and vids can't be backup"), and re-jailbreak if you've done so already. basically, your Touch will be like it was out of the box, no worries.
