Is there a Jailbreak For Ipod Touch 3g 3.1.3?

Questions on wheather I should Jailbreak my iPod Touch 3g 3.1.2 firmware?

• OK I have had my iPod touch 3g for about 2 months now and i saw about jailbreaking iPod touch 3g before but decided not to because of it being unteathered. However i saw somewhere on the internet that you can remove the jailbreak by restoring the iPod is this true ? Another would be weather it would be a good idea to restore because i restored my iPod touch twice before and both times my iPod showed an error (can't remember the name of the error) were the iPod would not turn on or respond to any computer so i had to return the iPod for another one twice which was really annoying. Thus being the reason why i would be a little scared to restore it agian in case it shows the error again and i don't know if i will be able to return it a thrid time. Another thing reason would be i am still unsure on what teathered means because some people have said that teathered means everytime you turn off the iPod you will have to jailbreak it again and some people say that you just have to connect the iPod to a computer for it to turn on again so i'm not initially sure. Please help as soon as possible !!!
