How to download songs onto an Ipod?

  • I am new at this and was wandering how to download songs and where to go to get them. I got my son an Ipod touch for Christmas and wanted to find out how to do this before he gets it...Please Help!!!

    The easiest thing to do is to download iTunes from www.apple.com, onto your computer. Then upload all his favorite CDs onto iTunes. You can go to iTunes store to purchase other songs individually or as albums.

You download itunes onto your computer, you create an account. You'll either need a credit card or a itunes gift card. You plug the ipod into the computer, you name the ipod, then once all that is done you go into the itunes store and buy the songs you want. Song range from 69 cents to 1.29. Since your son has the ipod touch you can also download movies and games to it too. You should only connect the ipod to the computer that your son will be using.

I use mp3raid.com and download them to my PC and then open iTunes and add files to the library, transfer them to my iPod and iPhone then delete them fro my PC! Simples!!
