How do i transfer music from a pc to a mac on itunes without deleting the music from either computer?

okay. so i got a new computer-a mac. i'm very familiar with macs, and i know that itunes has updates their softwares to make copying music pretty much illegal. so, i need music from my old pc to my new mac. i already have some music on my mac, and i don't want it to be erased. my pc doesn't have a cd drive otherwise i would transfer it that way. help please.
