Why won't my iPod show up on iTunes?

IPod is connected to computer but wont show up on itunes?

  • OK! so my iPod is connected to the computer and everything, But it's not showing up on itunes neither is itunes connecting to the internet even though i have perfect connection. It says connected on the screen and Ive tried changing the wires; that didn't help. I've uninstalled itunes and then RE-installed it; that didn't work either. Ive check my firewall and that's certainly not the problem. Could it be that i need to update itunes to a newer version? because if it is, my computer isn't allowing the "itunes64 setup" to install on my computer. I would really love to put some new music on my iPod soon

    i had the same problem! there was some VERY deep in the hardware of the computer file about mobile connection that i needed to get to and as soon as i clicked allow, i could use my ipod again. ill post if i can find the instructions again
