What are the games like on the ipod touch ?

  • I'm debating between either getting an ipod touch 3rd gen 64gb or a PSP Go. My needs are fairly simple, what I really want is a good reliable solid multimedia device that's got ample space for music, videos, movies, and occasionally gaming. I like the PSP however the space is pretty limited and the web browser sucks. As for the ipod touch, I'm not extremely familiar with the gaming but I think the PSP would be better in this area, seeing how the PSP is meant for gaming pretty much. But what I do want to know, is the gaming on the ipod touch "immersive" ? Would you see yourself spending hours playing games on the touch similar to the PSP ?

    It really depends on what games you like. The ipod touch is a great multimedia device, while the PSP go is more revolved around gaming. You said occasionally gaming..so with that I would go with the ipod. Movies come in great, and the games, are pretty fun, though I probably wouldn't spend hours gaming on it, though I would spend hours on other things such as web and videos. There are some good games for the ipod but again, all depends on your taste. The ipod game are also FAR cheaper, you can get games like The Sims on the PSP go for $30-$50, or $6 in the app store. The memory on the ipod is also sufficient. I have an 8gb and 7 pages of apps..not full yet! In the end I would choose an ipod touch.

Psp Owns ipod touch in gaming Hey, iPod Touch is decent in web browsing but, if you want to travel with an ipod that has internet go buy a iphone 3gs is good with games has great frame rate and an great camera. Now If you want iPhone; Internet,GoodSpace,Decentgames Vs Psp GreatGames,Ok space, & Horrible internet browsing You can decide. IPod touch is like psp but with better browsing and more space.

I got the ipod 64GB, its real good, i cannot live without it, its got my music, heaps of videos, note book, calculator everything i need for school. My fave games are need for speed and doodle jump, i played need for speed for hours on my touch, and it only costs 5 dollars where a psp game would be alot more.
