Ipod touch water damage?

  • I just dropped my ipod touch 4g in the water. it barely was up to the end of it with the connector plug, and I do not think any water got in. I took it out less than 2 seconds later, and it was still working. I turned it off, but not it is in a boot cycle where it shows the apple logo then it wants me to plug it into a computer, then it will do it again. I cannot get it to stop. I dont really want to recover it, because it is jailbroken, but if I have to I will. can anyone help of how to get it back to how it was. Also it is drying outside right now because I have no rice

    put in uncooked white rice for a day to get the water out of it...then turn it on and see dont leave it outside people will steal it even if it doesnt work jailbreakin it voided your warrantee
