How do you put music on an iPod nano?

I got a used ipod nano 2nd generation. How do I put the music from it into my itunes?

  • So my friend gave me her old Ipod nano (2nd generation). How do I put all the songs that are on it into my itunes? I have figured out how to put MY songs onto the ipod, but I want HER songs to go into my itunes!

  • Answer:

    Have your friend transfer those songs to a thumb drive so you can copy them to your iTunes folder on your computer. This will save them, as your iTunes will erase the content on your friend's old iPod.
