Can I put my songs from my Ipod nano to a new ipod touch if the songs are already in my library then sync it?

All the songs I want are in my library when i get my new ipod touch can i just plug it in open up itunes and sync those songs from the library does that work?

Absolutely...once you connect the new touche...iTunes will recognize the device and will copy everything in the library to the new Touch
