How do we get wifi on the ipod touch?

  • i just got the newest ipod touch a few days ago and i cant figure out how to use the wifi. i know you have to go to settings or something but i cant figure it out when it says 'CHOOSE A NETWORK' can someone please tell me what that is supposed to mean and how i can get my wifi to work? please and thank you:)

    You need to have, or be near a wireless router. If you don't have one, there is no way to have wifi for your ipod. You can buy a wireless router at stores like wall-mart for a one time payment of around 50 dollars. Go to settings, wifi, and turn it on. It will find wireless routers on its own for you. If nothing pops up, you are not in range of any wireless routers.

Well do you have a WiFi network to use? If you do then it should just pop up, but if it doesnt then you could type in the name of it and hopefully it will come up. If not, either call a Apple Person, or throw it across your backyard.

In the settings menu, choose Wifi, and then Choose a Network. Once you have found your network all you need to do is enter your password, which is found underneath some routers.

Wifi should be innately integrated within the system and as for connecting to a network, it should connect to one automatically-if the network doesn't have a security pass code to log in. Otherwise Wifi should be free and connect simply on its own
